Studio Policies

Thank you for considering FrontRoom Images for your photography needs!

We see each client as unique and with individual desires for their session. In order to better serve you and provide you with greater ease in your experience with FrontRoom Images, we enforce the following studio policies for all sessions.

 

Studio Hours

Regular Sessions: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday by appointment only.

Saturday/Sunday Sessions: The weekend is considered prime time and comes with a $50 premium which is paid at the time of your session.

 

Session Fee

The session fee includes our time and talent, consultation to plan your session, basic editing and retouching in post production, and the order session. It does not include any finished portraits or products.

 

Payments

We accept cash & personal check, made payable to FrontRoom Images. Credit card payments are accepted through PayPal for orders over $1,000. You must have the credit card present. We will not accept keyed in card numbers. 7% New Jersey sales tax will be applied to all session fees and product orders at the time of purchase.

 

Cancellations/Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your session due to sickness, injury or a scheduling conflict, please contact us at least 48 hours prior to your session. We understand that "life happens" and we get sick or other unexpected events pop up at the most inconvenient times. Just give us a call and we will gladly reschedule your session with the earliest available date.

 

Retainer Payments: Once the Studio reserves a date/time for the client’s, it ceases attempting to sell its services for this date/time to others. If the event is cancelled or postponed, the Studio suffers a loss. Therefore, payments made by the client/s are not refundable under any circumstances.

 

Re-shoots

Due to technical issues, such as equipment malfunction, computer malfunction, etc., we are happy to provide you with a re-shoot at no additional cost to you. However, we cannot offer free re-shoots for any reason including dissatisfaction with clothing, facial expressions, hair, wind or other items beyond our control. In the event that you would like to schedule another session due to these circumstances, we will offer a new session at 1/2 price and must be scheduled within 2 weeks of your original session.

 

Your Session

We want to give each client our full attention as well as their full amount of time. Please arrive on time for your session so we are able to accomplish this. If you are over 30 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, FrontRoom Images reserves the right to cancel your session. Keep in mind that weekend sessions are in high demand and although we will go to great lengths to meet your scheduling needs, these sessions book well in advance.

 

Please bring only the subjects to be photographed to the session. This is especially important with kids, as we will need their full attention on us rather than looking at other members of the family. Of course parents are always welcome. Keep in mind children will behave differently, and sometimes cooperate more when there's fewer people telling them what to do.

 

Minors

All clients under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Personal camera/video

We do NOT allow outside camera/video to be brought to your session, in studio or on location.

 

Pets

Pets are allowed only if they are being photographed. Pets must be on a leash or in a carrier. Please let us know if you plan to bring your pet.

 

Portrait Viewing Session

A single preview session in-studio will be scheduled for viewing your photographs. The purpose of the viewing session is to make your purchasing decision, so please plan to bring all the people involved in this decision.
